Default Photoshop Elements Sale

Until Sept 4 Elements is significantly discounted. http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html

And for those who don't know. Elements is actually a crippled version of Photoshop. And there is a program that unlocks many of these features. It should not be judged by other programs that have come and gone. This one works differently. The features it adds depend on the version of Elements. http://www.thepluginsite.com/product...patibility.htm

Wow ... thanks for this, Andrew. Have you used their software?

Yes, I've used Adobe software for years. <g>

As for The Plugin Site, I've used many of their products but not this one. I don't have Elements. Also, keep in mind it doesn't turn Elements into Photoshop. You don't get all Photoshop features. Just the ones on the list.

What it comes down to is whether these added features are worth the price of the product. Also, I just remembered something. He has two other products that add features to Elements. They are LayersXXL and ActionsXXL. I don't remember his reason for not putting all of this into one product. Maybe because of all the work he has to do to make this happen. I think (but could be wrong) that some of what he does with this stuff goes beyond unlocking features.

If you have Elements, why not test it and let us know what you think.

Smartaleck!

I do have Elements and may give this a whirl, but probably wouldn't know what to do with half the stuff it unlocks! Either way, it's good to know about.

Thanks. I bought and downloaded it yesterday (I was using PSE 12). Today it updated to PSE 14.1 and it also updated camera raw. I hope this isn't an ongoing thing. (-:

I looked at the plugin site but none of what it offered seemed to fit my wants/needs.

AHA! I'm off the hook. Evaluation, please, once you've had a chance to bang on it for a while. Thank you. You're a gentleman and scholar.
