Default The story behind Gill Sans

I heard the radio programme whilst lounging in my bath and thought of you, fellow forum members! Here is a transcript:

I always knew Eric Gill was a bit louche, but it seems he was a pretty vile character, if a fine typographer.

And apparently fairly open about his proclivities, given that it seems he wrote about them in his diary.
