Default How to find an invisible folder

Here are some instructions for creating an invisible folder. My question is, how do I find it again once I create it. Also, it seems it will only be invisible on the desktop, because any file manager will show it's date of creation (or at least a blank spot)

First of all - why would you want to do that?

To reverse the invisibility I suspect reversing the steps you took to make it that way would do the trick. If you can find it again, that is!

I would suspect that if you open your Desktop folder under Users / <your name? / Desktop you would see a nameless file with a blank name but other details showing.

Alternatively Desktop is listed under Libraries on my Windows 7 machine.

Select the line and 2 will open the blank for renaming.

If you have several blank entries then double clicking on one would tell you where it is a link to .....
