Default No more Dalgliesh...

Read in the paper today that P.D. James died...very sad that there will be no more Adam Dalgliesh or more Pemberley stories.

In reading her obit, I discovered that her first novel "Cover Her Face" was pub'd in 1962. I hadn't realized it took place then but it's been years since I read it. I also didn't realize that she had been married. Sad about her husband...

Oh dear, I missed that one. We are very fortunate that she continued to write for so long.

She was a truly amazing lady.

She was indeed...I didn't realize that she didn't start writing until she was in her 40's. She was 94...
