Default One-day sale: Eurostile Next

Linotype is offering the Eurostile Next family for $49/€49 today.

Eurostile Next is a popular sans serif font with a unique design that makes it clearly stand out in comparison with other typefaces of this genre. It takes its origin from the acclaimed title font Microgramma, to which Aldo Novarese added lowercase letters. It was first published in 1962 and was an overnight success. This is unsurprising in view of the fact that the unusual quadratic design, large x-height and many individually shaped characters make Eurostile quite distinctive.
The family was thoroughly reworked in 2008 by Akira Kobayashi, Monotype’s Type Director, and now offers a fully harmonised and improved version of the original in the form of Eurostile Next.
The 15 weights of Eurostile Next range from Ultra Light to Bold, and each weight has compatible Condensed and Extended variants. Eurostile Next provides near endless experimentation options in the field of corporate, poster and signage system design available; the font can also be used to set longer texts in smaller point sizes.
