Default Free Daz Software

For a limited time, DAZ is giving away free copies of DAZ Studio, Bryce 7 and Hexagon

So that's where Bryce is these days. And there's a Mac version!

They also took over the care of Carrara.

The amazing thing about this free offer is these are not their low end versions. This is the top stuff. I assume the idea is to sell people content later. But still, they could also do this with their low end software.

Well, they're getting good buzz here. Surely elsewhere, as well. That's probably at least part of what they had in mind.

And maybe, for people like me who'd never heard of DAZ and had lost track of Bryce, to make some mental connections click.

They've been sending marketing email at intervals since I downloaded the freebies.

I was told this leads into a big March sale:

Quote:
they have between 40 to 70% discount, and sometimes on some very selected things are even 95% discount. And also each day they make new product offerings

I downloaded DAZ, which seems very much like Poser, by the tutorials I have been watching. I had been craving Poser for some time, so perhaps this will be a cheap fix.
