Default Italic Greek symbols

I usually use Adobe Type 1 Symbol for greek characters, plus, minus signs etc.
Client wants Italic greek symbols. I've searched Adobe and several other font web sites for an italic version but with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Yes: try Lucida Bright Math[s] Italic. It has itaiic Greek.

When I saw your message I made a mental note to remember it, in case I ever needed an italic math symbol.

Sure enough, I needed one today!

Thanks!

Marlene:

Having a font with the complete set of sloping Greek is useful, because the Symbols font (Mac or Windows) contains such a useless selection. A complete set of Lucida Bright fonts is useful anyway: they work quite well with many other fonts.
