Default MS WordPad, V. 5.1, Recently used files

I am using MS WordPad, Version 5.1, for certain purposes. I see that it has a list of 4 recently used files. Is there any way to have a longer list of recently used files, such as MS Word has?

I have no idea, but does that app have preferences? If so, check there.

I don't find any registry hack to do this, but I did come across this replacement for Wordpad. Might be of use to you.

I can't see a way to do it either. Can you help us out maybe with some details as to why you need to use that particular application for this purpose?
