Default Spot colors in Corel

I get a few Corel files that I have to output from Indesign. I work exclusively with spot colors, and I think I have a handle on what I have to do with them in terms of proper spot color assignment. Perhaps someone could check my work.

From Corel:
Black only:
Save PDF as grayscale.

PMS color(s):
Create PMS swatches from Pantone library, assign objects and text the proper color from the swatches, remove all unused swatches, and preserve spot colors from PDF export menu.

Files with placed RGB images:
Bite the bullet and color break them in Photoshop.

I've taken a few trial runs in my down time, and these fixes seem to be working.
