Default Mac OS X 10.3.9, anyone?

Has anyone braved this install yet? Issues?

There's mention of improvements in Postscript printing and font management.

Downloading the combo updater now...

I installed it this morning. No problems so far.

Installed it the day I read about it, on an "unsupported" system, and it's working flawlessly.

I’m never brave enough to say that any computer anything is working flawlessly (fear of hubris!), but I haven’t noticed any problems in particular.

Perhaps I was tempting the gods there. Perhaps I can avert their wrath by admitting that when I have been back to system 9 to use a scanner that doesn't work with OS X, the restart in OS X sometimes hangs on the first try.

Does it happen whenever you restart after running in OS 9? Or only after doing so to use the scanner?

Not sure I know why it would matter, but it sounds a bit odd to me (but I am not a techie, so …

It doesn't always do it at all (unfortunate, in a way, since it makes it harder to diagnose). Once last week for the scanner, once the other day when I'd gone back to use Word 2001 (Word will run in Classic, but won't print, so far as I can tell.) Then, the next time, from using Word again, no problem.
O don't think it's ever taken more than the second restart to get it going.

I've installed it and haven't yet noticed any difference -- except that a Safari add-on has stopped working.

Safari 1.3 has most of the changes planned for the Tiger version, so it was more likely to break something than earlier updates.

What did it break (just curious)? I don’t have any Safari add-ons.
