Default Phooey on the Mac Mini!

According to the Apple employee at CompUSA, the graphics built into the Intel chip used for the Mac Mini is not even as fast or capable as the one in my G4 Mac (and its problems with Illustrator and Photoshop is why I am even considering a new computer).

So the thing is cute but not, it seems, for me. Alas.

Thanks to Robin, who first mentioned the problem and prompted me to ask.

I will go to the store later and take a look at both G5 and Intel iMacs, which are set up side by side for comparison purposes. There are also some adjustments on color and screen quality. We shall see.

What a good thing you found this out before you bought one!

Sorry I wasn't on the ball a bit earlier, but better late than never, eh?

Next thing is to decide between the G5 and Intel iMac, and that depends on which software you're using. If you're not upgrading to the Adobe CS3 suite or XPress 7, go for the G5 machine because nothing's slower is this world than Rosetta!
