Default Ban Comic Sans

An entire web site devoted to the demotion of a single font.

(With apologies if it's been posted here before.)

It has come up a few times. I think it has been up for a long time.

Default Ban Comic Sans

I am the one who posted it first, and I don't mind repetition. I have responsibility for a site that uses Comic Sans extensively, but I haven't changed it to something else.

There is another site devoted to getting the Caps Lock key banned from the keyboard. That's not likely, either.

What a crazy idea! How will I type my posttown and postcode (IPSWICH, IP3) if there's no Caps Lock?

Shift keys on both sides would still be there, just no Caps Lock above the left shift key.

Don't worry, I don't see much chance of this happening.

What a good idea! Fortunately I have some software on the ThinkPad that disables the Caps Lock.

It seems less of a problem on my Mac keyboards but it can be disabled in the system prefs in OSX. So I guess that's a partial victory.
