I am trying to install the Windows XP Pro, SR 1 Fax Utility from my original Windows XP CD. However, the install asks for fxsapi.dll and fxscomex.dll from the SR 1 CD, which I don't have. I got these two DLL's from the web, but now it wants fxsclnt.exe, which I cannot find on the web.
Is there anything to be done, or must I try a third party utility instead? I have an older third party utility, but it doesn't work. |

I got faxes to go using the old third party software on my wife's computer. I suspect the problem with my computer to be in the modem board, but I am not sure.
