are u letting Quark do the conversion from RGB to CMYK -if so its awful. All conversions should be carried out in say photoshop and the setting when sending the file from Quark put to "as is"

Default Question for PeterArnel

Hi Peter,

Would you please explain how can I get that option "As Is". I have that in my computer home and when sending to print in Acrobat PDF I have option "As Is". Strangerly I have same programs (Quark6) nad Acrobat 7 at work but have not option "As Is" when tried to print from Quark to PDF. Where's that option?

If your goal is a PDF that looks correct on screen as opposed to when printed, then you want to turn all color managment off. In QXP and Distiller.
