Default Inserting an Image

Can I insert an image from my hard drive? (Type JPG, but could be whatever is needed.) The insert icon seems to want a published image.

You cannot "insert" them, but you can attach them.

If you scroll down the message-creation pagte, you will see a section called "Attach Files." Click on the "Manage attachment" button and you will be able to choose files on your drive.

Default Insert is from a published web site, not hard drive.

Ah, but this is a URL pointing to a published photo on a web site.

You will see the attachments in the thread about DW and browsers, done from the hard drive.

You mean insert an image here in the forum? As Don noted, you can attach an image (via "attach files" > "manage attachments") and it can originate on your harddrive...let me do one now...
