Art Brush in Paint Shop Pro and Painter

I downloaded the Paint Shop Pro demo to see what some of its new features can do. With the art brush, I can partially mix colors on the palette, and when I paint, the color variation is reflected in the stroke. Or to put it another way, I can load a brush with two colors, and paint with both colors in a single stroke.

I have Painter 7, and it can't do this. Can Painter IX do this?

You bet...actually, I think that you can do it in Painter 7 too--don't have it on my system anymore so I can't test it but let me go check Painter 6...ah-ha!!! found it...

Check Painter 7's help and look for "painting with color" and/or "loading multiple colors" and/or "brush loading"...also check out the settings Color Expression...

Also, Painter IX has a whole new color mixing palette...
