21 July 2005:
Mozilla has released Firefox and Thunderbird 1.0.6, calling each a “stability update” and recommending that all users update to the new versions.
Don’t do what I did (just blaze ahead) — pause to read the Firefox Release Notes page (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/releases/1.0.6.html) and the Thunderbird Release Notes page (http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/releases/1.0.6-release-notes.html) as applicable.
There are some issues — extensions and themes will be disabled, and there are a few other problems, all explained in the release notes.
