I was wondering if anyone has any non-copyright high res photos of San Francisco sites. I'm putting together my sister's bridal shower and it's going to be a San Francisco theme (where they got engaged). I'm also planning this on a low budget, but would like to incorporate some images into the decorations and favors. Does anyone have any personal photos they wouldn't mind sharing with me for the purpose of my sister's shower?? Please???

Hm. I guess no one here has such. I've visited the Bay Area multiple times over the years, but for some reason haven't taken pics since my first trip there 25 years ago, and, as for those handful of pics, I have no idea what has become of them. Sorry!

Have you considered using features common to S.F. — Dungeness crabs, the Golden Gate Bridge, Chinatown (or products in the markets there)? You ought to be able to find no-fee images of some of those things.

Good luck.

I have a few digital photos from my last trip to SF. Mostly Golden Gate Park, mostly around the conservatory (or whatever that thing is called) and the Japanese Tea House. A couple of shots from the little park on the other side of Golden Gate Bridge. If you still need images and want to see them, we can figure out how I can get them to you. They range from about 2 MB to 11 MB.

Thanks. How would you suggest we go about this? I don't mind it if you just email a couple to me. That's up to you.

I just got a promo from some business or other in the mail today and thought of this discussion. The photo was of one of the SF streetcars and carried a line crediting the San Francisco Convention and Visitor's Bureau. I wonder if they'd have photos you could use.

Sounds like you got what you need from the convention bureau, which would undoubtedly have better photos than mine! But let me know if you still need any of the ones I've got.
