The major site update I'm doing is using ColdFusion (7 or 8; have to look it up at work tomorrow).

We have a fantastic template that uses includes to hte max, so the next redesign won't take much effort.

But I can't use the template to create a Template in DW CS3; I can save a file, set an editable region, then try to apply to a file, but DW doesn't ask where the editable region is.

Anyone ever attempted to use DW3, Templages, and CF files?

I don't understand the question Dennis!

Perhaps if you explained a bit more - step by step - how are you "applying" the file, when does DW ask for the region, we might be able to help. I am not familiar with CF, but have used other server-side scripts with DW and templates, so might be able to extrapolate (or not).

Lois,

That's the problem. DW isn't asking for the region. I try to apply the template, and instead of prompting me what region to use (there's only 1), it applies the template and dumps all the text underneath.

I've been swamped lately and haven't had a chance to look at it lately. We're upgrading from CS3 to CS4 next month, so I may just wait.
