We are in Kuala Lumpur visiting relatives, but today we fly to Bali, and next week we will will be off to Kuching, Sarawak, for another wedding.

I am taking this opportunity to post a message here, but I don't know if I will be on the Internet in Bali or not.

Any more than you can judge Brits when they are abroad, or American tourists here I guess.

If I were to pre-judge, I'd be all for them, since I've pretty much liked all the Aussies I've met so far. It's the post-judging they need to worry about. ;-)

Please don't prejudge the Australians you meet in Bali. :)We met some Germans at the hotel, and spoke with a friendly tall Englishman on the plane back from Bali.

Does anyone else find it interesting you don't mention whether the Germans were friendly?I pictured the Englishman as exceptionally outgoing and the Germans pleasant and more in tune with their own group. I suppose if I was traveling alone (what I inferred about the Englishman) I would probably be extra happy to converse with fellow travelers. When I'm with a group (or at least one other person) I tend to talk more with my traveling companion(s), because I know them better.

But your mileage may vary, as car dealers say. :)
