I've recently received "Real World Camera Raw with Adobe Photoshop CS3," begun by Bruce Fraser and completed by Jeff Schewe. I don't even have Photoshop CS3 yet, but I've enjoyed Bruce's books so much over the years, and learned so much from them, that I pre-ordered it when Amazon announced it.
I don't know how much was written by each of the two authors, but the book lives up to its predecessors, and has a lot of the flavor of Bruce's writing.
And, based on the forty or so pages I've read so far, I'm going to have go ahead and get the CS3 upgrade, even though $200 seems like a lot. Some of the new features in Camera Raw 4 look like they will offer significant improvements in the handling of common problems in digital photography.
The book isn't cheap, either, at $45 list, or even at Amazon's $30, for 355 pages, but I think it will be worth it.
