Wow, a whole new forum hierarchy, no announcement, it just appears for our delight and/or curiosity.

Have some of the older threads disappeared? I know we have had far more than three discussions on hardware, to cite just one example.

Nothing has disappeared (better not have, anyway); some threads were mass-moved, and some will be moved individually as we work through the sections.

But Search should always work, regardless of where the thread is.

Sorry for any confusion.

I am delighted about the change, and not confused. Somehow I don't have enough "steam" to continue with a big task, too. You might consider moving the most current threads to a more appropriate section first.

For example, Lois has an Outlook thread in The Pub which could be in Software instead.

Press Releases & Announcements (http://www.desktoppublishingforum.com/bb/forumdisplay.php?f=31)
Vendor messages about products and events

Does "Never" mean that this section will not accept posts? I hope so, but maybe that is not really how it works.

KT: Sorry. Ran out of steam before getting to an announcement.

The new sections are very self-explanatory, but boy, first thing in the morning and I was wondering if I'd somehow overlooked the BIG announcement of impending change. I'm frequently drifting in my own little world enough to miss things like that<G>

It means there has never been a post there.

Well, at least you’re up and wide awake now! :)

Aww, now you gave it away. We could have had weeks worth of fun with Cristen if you hadn't gone and blabbed. Tsk.

You could have said it'd been done for a week already and I'd have believed you. <ggg> Everyone is more observant than I, which is why, I suppose, I'm always the last to know.

We could have shared the darkness. You'll have to share "last to know" with me. <g>
