View Full Version : PhotoPaint printing problem

I'm having frequent problems printing from PhotoPaint 11: anything larger than the simplest, low-res image generates the attached brilliant error message. I click the button, but the image doesn't print (specifically, the spooler process freezes). Printing large images from Photoshop is fine. Any ideas?

It looks like nobody here is familiar with this problem. Have you checked over in the Photo-Paint 11 support newsgroup? You can reach them via this web page (http://support.corel.com/scripts/rightnow.cfg/php.exe/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=754345), or log into their server at cnews.corel.com.

What a wonderfully useful error message!

I don't have PP but...what printer are you printing to? What OS?

save as a tiff and place that in another app then print.

HP Smotophart 7150, Win 98SE. The PC is a PIII 800 with 128Mb RAM and 20Gb free disk space. That error message is probably the best in the world!

That's what I did in the end, but PP allows me to print 4 en-print size prints on an A4 sheet, and I don't think Photoshop can do that, unfortunately.

Do you by any chance have another printer you could print to? I wonder if it's not PP but a printer problem?

The file's here at home, but I could take to to the studio and try it there. Trouble is just finding the time to try it during the day...

why import in into photoshop? Use Corel Draw and you've got the imposition
