Batch processing Quark 6.5 files

Does anyone happen to know of a plugin or maybe a script that will help me downsave hundreds of Quark 6.5 (Mac) files to version 5? Also helpful would be something to aid me creating PDFs of a batch of QXPs.

I guess for PDFs I can drop them onto the PDF printer but then they go all over my desktop. Still easier than opening them one by one, though.

I believe it can be done fairly easily, though I've never tried; I never bothered with version 5, and I rarely touch 6.5 these days. If Quark still have forums, that would be the place to look.
