Just though I would introduce myself. I am a print designer at Overstock.com and have been doing print for only a couple years now. I also do a little freelance, but am still trying to finish my new site http://www.cibgraphics.com

Hope to learn a lot here.

Welcome! I'm sure you'll be able to contribute as well as learning, with your background: the more variety, the better.

Welcome to the forum...

Your logo is interesting but doesn't appear to have anything to do with your company name...sooo...what does it mean???

Took a look at your old site...

You may want to proofread before moving stuff to your new site (on your "basics" page > page layout > "dont" and "seperate" (don't and separate); "basics": Design Programs "If your" (you're)...

The logo has to do with my name, kinda hard to explain without being there in person to show ya. :cool:

As for the proofreading. Yeah, I know I have problems. That old site I had to put up quick to show someone so I could get a job (which I got) So the new one I totally rewriting it with more and better content. Unfortually spelling and grammar is one of my weak points. Trying to better though. Thanks for looking at my site.

Shouldn't the logo of your business really relate to the business? On the other hand there are oodles of companies out there with logos that are not making any sense, at least your's look good!

I often have to spot my own spelling errols (in this foreign laguage called english) and I've learned that proofreading is almost impossible to do on-screen, a printout is really what you need (which is helpful as you can pencil in any corrections).

You'll find that nit-picking is a common occurance in there parts too!

Maybe that's something you could put on your webpage?

LOL!!! While it won't help too much for grammar, try reading your text out loud as I find that helps me spot spelling problems like "unfortually" vs. "unfortunately"...'-}}

You're welcome...
