Joomla! CMS (http://www.joomla.org/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/) version 1.0.9 was released today, and can be downloaded via a link at the site.
The update is said to offer 12 low-level security fixes, more than 160 bug fixes (!!! — how many more are there?), and performance enhancements.
And, for the record, since I ranted and raved about it this morning: The Demo button now works. It seems they were updating it to the new 1.0.9 version. They could use more accurate or communicative messages, but seem to be on top of the essentials!
