Hi everyone,
This may seem a little brazen, but i could do with some help. I am currently conducting a survey about the types of fonts people like us use, whether in particulat Opentype is maing any impact. This as part of a project I am conducting as part of my part time degree course.
Please do not see this as spam.
I'd be most grateful if any of you could help at all. Thanks.
My email = icm@imatt.demon.co.uk
From here I will send you the questionnaire in MS Word format.
Of course it goes without saying that any info will be treated in strict confidence.
Thanks once again.
Regards,
Ian :)

Please do not see this as spam.Is there any way you can post your survey here and let members participate, forum-style? Then no one would think of it as spam — in fact, most would probably think it was fun!

How would I do this? Unless I cut and past the questions into a reply box or something???

How would I do this? Unless I cut and past the questions into a reply box or something???Not sure how complicated it is, but I would post a message listing the questions. People would reply with their responses.
Or is it more complicated than that?

Some systems have a Poll feature built in but one disadvantage is that the questions in it often do not cover all the alternatives and also that multiple choice answers are rarely provided for.

I do not think I actually studied how the vB one works. And I was hoping Ian would tell how his questions are structured.
And maybe it would just be easier to do as he suggested at first, do it by e-mail.
Font selections are popular items for discussion, though.

OK will provide questions tommorow. Getting late and I need my beuty sleep.....;-)If you want to send me a copy of the Word file, maybe I will see how to do this.
I do believe you will get a bigger response, if that is the objective, is the thing is right here. But maybe it won’t work.
I will send you my e-mail address, and once you are up and gorgeous again, you can send me the file. :)

Should we direct him to post the questions here, or in the Fonts folder?
Just wondering.

Just wondering. It will of course be in the fonts section, if we can work out how to do it before the poor guy fails his class!
