Given that my computer is secure and only accessible by me, is there any point in logging in and out? Or should I just leave it logged in?

logging out clears all of the forum cookies, forcing you to relog in on your next return. Unless I am specifically trying to see what a guest sees, I don't log out, just close my browser window. Session cookies expire in 30 - 60 minutes after last activity.

Given that my computer is secure and only accessible by me, is there any point in logging in and out? Or should I just leave it logged in?I never log out. If I've been inactive for a while, the next time I try to navigate there's a short delay while it revalidates me, but that's no hassle with ADSL.
However, it's no hardship if the site's bookmarked and you have OS X and the forum remembering your details, just to click on the bookmark and just come straight in.
It's all up to personal preferences, I think.

I never log out - my computer is also secure and there's no reason to go through the hassle of manually logging in every time. At least no reason that I've discovered so far! ;-)
