Our Favorite Fonts of 2005 Part 1

Typographica has just published their "Favorite Fonts of 2005 -- Part 1 (http://typographi.com/001045.php)".

A couple of interesting points (quoted from Typographica http://typographi.com):
1- Nine of the 14 top selections come from one-man studios.
2- Nearly every featured font is available in OpenType, and many exclusively so.

Interesting entries. Especially Maiola. If I were font shopping, I'd also want to think about Vista Sans and Proxima Nova. Oh, why not be honest. If I had the time and cost were no object, I'd like to play with all of them.
