How can I use auto fix on a large number of jpg files all at once instead of doing each one separately on a directory ?:)

Please list the steps I should use.

thanks

I don't use Elements, but Photoshop allows for Batch Actions and Droplets. If you look under File>Automate, maybe there is something there? If not, I'm afraid I can't help you.

If you look at Help under "automate," "actions," "droplets" and find something, anything, you'll be on your way if Elements 2 has any method for it.

Arthur,

I dont think you can do this with Elements 2. ;)

The only options you have, are

Batch rename.
Batch File type conversion.
Batch Image size.

My understanding is that Elements 2 is limited just as Mick posted in his reply. But, there are people who have uncovered abilities in Elements that are not obvious or documented. Some require addons, others do not. A good place to check is the Photoshop Elements Q&A ( http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=148) forum at RetouchPRO.

There's also Richard Lynch's Hidden Elements:

although at the moment he's not beyond Elements 3 it seems.

Richard Lynch is also a moderator at the forum I posted the link for. Although now that I look more closely, it seems he has not posted in the Q&A forum for awhile. But still active in The Hidden Power of Photoshop Elements 2 (http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=142) forums.

There is indeed, and I'm running one of the free batch ones on my version. It's fairly limited though. http://www.hiddenelements.com/freebatchactions.html

The free Extra Elements addons from Paul Shipley, are more useful, in my opinion ;) http://member.melbpc.org.au/~pshipley/

I run all of these with my version of Elements 2

I did not know about Shipley -- do you have to stand on your head to use it? <g>

I bought the Lynch book and CD but don't think I've ever used his revealed features. I'm not that into imag editing ..... yet
