Red Ink

In the Print Trade Press in the UK news has leaked out that the printers printing the US budget - ran out of red ink and had to suspend printing?????

I've never seen "red ink" in red in a financial statement --never seen the US budget printout either, and wonder who does!

But a lovely thought, whether it's true or not.

I'll refrain from remarks equating or comparing red ink to blood inane and insane wars are shedding...
